ANZ MyTell Application

Back in 2002, ANZ had used a 'green screen' telling application for almost 20 years and their software provider's support for the legacy system was soon going to end. They required a new application to be designed for all their tellers across Australia and New Zealand that would be browser enabled and easier to learn than the current application.

Application interface design and brand

As user experience lead, I worked closely with ANZ's team of business analysts and with the IBM team who were responsible for the back end functionality of the application. The application had to be intuitive, support key-board only entry and could not scroll in an 800 x 600 browser window. With these constraints, I worked on the user interaction design, developed personas and scenarios, interface designs and the MyTell application brand. The application was rolled out to all tellers across Australia and New Zealand in 2005 with considerably less training than the previous application required. It has also resulted in a huge return on investment as tellers have benefited from the greater efficiencies afforded by the new application.
